Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Dipak Kumar Parmar. My mother's name is Ramilaben. My father is a private employee. My brother's name is Darsh Parmar; he is currently studying in class 9. My maternal uncle (mama) is unemployed. My uncle (chacha) is a daily wage worker. My father's age is 47 years, my mother's age is 42 years, and my brother's age is 14 years.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I want to prepare for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), whose preparation requires a high amount of money that my father cannot afford. But I have a strong intention to go to an IIT. If I had not been selected to be a Dakshana Scholar, then I would have joined any government college (NIT).

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a software engineer and stabilize my family's condition. I want to see my grandma happy and want to change her home. I want to make my parents feel proud of me.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful (that is, financially stable), I want to spread awareness about various examinations like JEE, NEET, NTSE, etc., because I got to know about them very late in my school life. I also want to feed beggars near my home who ask for food at every doorstep. I want to serve my nation as a good citizen.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I am fond of reading books. I once read an extract of “Wings of Fire” by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. I was surprised to know he studied under street lights and became the Missile Man of India. He is my idol. I want to contribute to my country in any possible way.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love reading novels and biographies of great people. I like playing cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, chess, carrom, etc. I also like solving physics and maths problems.
