You can lift a family from poverty permanently and help get the scholar accepted by an IIT or a government medical college in India.

Support Dakshana
All outside donor funds are used only for the direct Dakshana Scholar program. Foundation overheads are not paid from these funds. So, any funds you donate are going directly (and 100%) to a great cause. You are making a big difference.
Dakshana has two different programs that you can support.
1) Near-Term Scholar Expenses – These funds are used to support the day to day scholar expenses.
2) Endowment – If endowment is selected, 5% of the balance every year will be moved to the operating account. Endowment funds are managed by Mohnish Pabrai and are invested in equities in a very concentrated manner. The endowment helps your dollar go further. Endowments are only accepted, currently, in dollars.
Support a Scholar—For Less Than the Cost of a Latte at Starbucks!
You can fully support a Dakshana scholar for as little as $3.30 per day in either our original 2-year program or our new 1-year program at Dakshana Valley. You can lift a family from poverty permanently and help get the scholar accepted by an IIT or a government medical college in India. To support one scholar at Dakshana Valley, it is $199 per month for 12 months. For the 2-year program, it’s $99 per month for 24 months. We will auto-bill your credit card each month during your sponsorship. You can even choose the scholar and interact with him or her.
