Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Mr. Nitya Ranjan Sarkar. He has a shop, and my family depends on it. He is very hardworking, and I learn many things from him. My mother’s name is Mrs. Champa Sarkar, and she is a housewife. I have an older sister named Rimi Sarkar. We are a small family of four members.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
If I had not been selected for the Dakshana Scholarship, I would have struggled a lot due to my poor economic condition. If I was not selected, I would study from home through online classes and try to crack JEE.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become something in the eyes of my parents—something that makes them feel proud. So I want to crack JEE and become an engineer so that the condition of my family becomes better.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful in my life, I will make society aware of the importance of education and encourage everyone to get and provide higher education. I want people to do better in life and become someone. I would help people like me who have fewer facilities for education.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One of the most important things in my life that motivates me is my family’s condition. My family works very hard, and they want to see me become successful.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am very much interested in playing, especially volleyball. My hobbies are singing and travelling with my family and friends.
