I want to become and engineer from my childhood. But due to my family background, I am not able to think of this. My father is a graduate but he did not get any government job. He used to work in private school and he get only Rs 2000 per month. This small amount can?t maintain our family there are lot of my difficulties in our education field. My two younger brothers and I was not be able to go good schools. My father educate us. I got selection in JNV in 2004 there I improve a lot. My teacher inspire me to become an IITian. I also want to become an IITian but my family was not able to support my dreams because of economic difficulties. After passing X, I feel very bad because my friends tell me that they are going outside Manipur for taking IIT coaching and for other competitive exams. They often used to ask about me. In that time I have no answer to give. I was helpless in that time. When I got the news of my selection in Dakshana I was very happy. Dakshana is the gist of God for me. They are providing so much facilities, giving IIT coaching to get through the exam.
I am very thankful to Dakshana for giving us the hope to become an IITian and for giving us such an opportunity. I will try my best and with the knowledge which I gain from this will help in getting IIT and I wish to become a good citizen and help in upliftment of our society.
