Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Dhananjay Roy, is a BHMS degree holder, but due to health issues, he is currently not practicing. He dislikes the idea of working and living separately from us and prefers spending time with the family. My mother, Sanchita Roy Ghosh, is my role model. She is the backbone of our family and works as a peasant woman. She loves spreading positivity wherever she goes and dislikes negativity. She is talented and hardworking.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
My father lives separately, and my mother, being a single parent, has raised me and my younger sister on her own. The Dakshana selection and financial support would be a great help to us. I believe Dakshana is the best place where I can receive proper support and guidance for NEET preparation.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I aim to become a cardiothoracic surgeon. I wish to help poor people by providing affordable treatment. Moreover, I especially want to make my mother proud of her elder daughter.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Being a Dakshana Scholar means serving society. As a future doctor, I would like to contribute to society by providing good healthcare facilities and affordable treatment to people in need.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was 12 years old, my younger sister was born. From that moment, I felt a strong sense of responsibility. Since then, she has become my greatest source of motivation. I want to take good care of her and become a good role model in her life.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love learning new things such as languages, mythology, and culture. My hobbies include drawing, playing musical instruments, chess, writing poems, cricket, archery, swimming, shooting, and performing magic tricks.
