Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Mr. Susanta Banerjee, does not have a fixed profession. Sometimes he works as a farmer, and at other times he works as a priest. Whenever there is work related to metal factories, he also goes there for employment. My mother is a housewife, and she stitches clothes to support our family financially. My uncle is currently unemployed, while my aunt works as a ward girl in a hospital. Although our family faces many difficulties, we always stay united and support one another.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
My family is not financially capable of providing me with NEET coaching at a private institute. Therefore, I believe I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship. If I am not selected, I will continue my studies in my parent JNV and prepare for the NEET examination on my own, even if it takes me an extra year to achieve my goal.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to succeed in whichever profession God chooses for me. I want to give my best in life and make my parents proud and happy through my achievements.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to contribute to society by helping poor and underprivileged students achieve their goals. Since I have received support and opportunities through institutions like Dakshana, I also want to help others reach their destinations in life through guidance and support.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I have always seen my parents working day and night to provide all the necessary things for me and my brother. There was a time when our family had very limited resources, and my mother even sold her jewelry to support our needs. Watching my parents make such sacrifices motivated me deeply. Their hard work inspired me to stay determined and work hard toward my goals. I always remind myself that if my parents can struggle so much for my future, then I must also give my best in return.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in reading religious scriptures, and my hobby is studying and understanding the teachings and verses of these scriptures.
