Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Our family is a nuclear family consisting of three members. My father, Late Ganesh M., died when I was in 10th grade due to pneumonia. My mother’s name is Shashikala M.D. She is a housewife and also does stitching. I have one elder sister named Nagashree M.G., who is currently doing MBBS in our home state. My grandmother is the backbone of our family. She and my uncle help us with our studies.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I have wanted to become a doctor since the 8th standard. I was working toward my dream, but I couldn’t succeed this year. Still, I am hopeful for next year. My family’s economic condition is not good, and Dakshana provides the best education and facilities free of cost, which will help me reach my destination. If I am not selected, I will find another way to fulfill my dream. I will never give up.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to fulfill my family's dream by becoming a good doctor. I want to be in a good position in the future and serve my society.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After becoming a successful doctor, I will definitely serve my society. I have seen many people suffering from diseases who cannot get proper cure because of poor economic conditions, so I wish to help them in the future as much as I can.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My only thought is to become a well-educated and successful person. Seeing doctors who dedicate their whole lives to helping people inspired me to choose medicine. My sister and family members also support me and eagerly wait for my success, which motivates me further.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have an interest in dancing, listening to music, cooking, and travelling.
