Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Mr. Swadesh Kumar, and my mother's name is Mrs. Mamta Devi. My father is a truck driver, and my mother is a housewife. I have two younger brothers, and both are students. My uncle’s name is Mr. Mahesh Kumar, and he is in the Border Security Force (BSF).
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I am awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I have the potential and capability to prepare for JEE and qualify it. I am very thankful to Dakshana for giving me this one-year scholarship. If I am not selected, I will prepare through self-study and try to clear the JEE exam because my family needs money to come out of poverty. I will work hard at home to improve our situation.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to remove the poverty at my home. I have seen my parents work hard for me since childhood. My first ambition is to become a successful person so that I can remove my poverty by working hard.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
My ambition in life is to remove poverty from my home. Since childhood, I have seen my parents working hard for me. My first ambition is to become a successful person so I can remove poverty from my home. I want to become rich so that the next generation does not see poverty.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I become successful, I would like to contribute to society. I want to help poor and needy people like Dakshana does. Dakshana helps those students who can’t afford high coaching fees. Dakshana gives everything free of cost to students who really need it. So I want to contribute like Dakshana.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
When I see my father working hard, that moment motivates me because he is doing it for me, and it becomes my responsibility to do something good for him, so I study. Another motivating incident was from my childhood when I was not studying and my mother hit me with her slipper. Those moments are memorable and motivational for me.
