Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Vikash Jain. He is a farmer and works very hard to earn our livelihood. My mother’s name is Sapna Jain and she is a housewife. I have a little brother named Veer Jain who is studying in class 7. I have no paternal uncles but I have two maternal uncles who are shopkeepers. My grandmother also lives with us. We all love spending time together, laughing and talking. Sometimes we play board games like Ludo too.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I deserve to be a Dakshana Scholar because I worked hard for the JDST exam and the interview. It is economically difficult for me to go elsewhere and stay for NEET coaching. Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My aim is to become an oncologist and find a cure for deadly diseases like throat cancer and lung cancer. I want that nobody dies because of lack of money or awareness. My ambition is to find a way to eradicate cancer from our country.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will open an NGO that helps poor and needy people with treatment for deadly diseases like cancer. After becoming successful, I will try to make society free from cancer. I also want to help people who lose their livelihood due to natural calamities or disasters.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My friend died because of lung cancer three years ago. No one could do anything for him. That’s why I decided to become an oncologist and find a permanent and effective cure for cancer so that no one else dies from this deadly disease. This incident always reminds me to do better.
