Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Mr. Jalam Singh Rai. He is a farmer. My mother’s name is Mrs. Sundla Devi and she is a housewife. We are four siblings. My brother Anil Rai is preparing for the Junior Engineering examination. My sister Ayesha Rai is preparing for the SSC examination. My other sister, Arti Rai, is doing BTech from IIIT Kota. My uncle is also a farmer.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I have the potential to work hard to achieve my goal and good communication skills to guide other needy students. I would feel disappointed if I were not selected, but I would not lose hope and would continue my journey to make my future bright.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is not to earn money, but to make my parents, friends, and family proud.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become an engineer, I will contribute to my country’s development. I will use my knowledge to make inventions that help people. I will help needy people just as Dakshana has helped me.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The sacrifices and hard work of my father are my biggest motivation. In my village, one family had the same condition as ours, but one person worked hard in education and changed the entire family’s condition. I want to do the same for my family.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like watching movies and playing games like volleyball, handball and kabaddi. I also like travelling with my friends.
