Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Suryakanta Behera. He has studied till 10th and owns a shop; he is also a farmer. My mother's name is Swapna Behera. She studied till 10th and is a housewife. I have an elder brother named Sudhir Kumar Behera; he is a student and applying for jobs. I live in a joint family with my father's elder brother, who is a teacher. My aunt is also a teacher, and they have two children who are elder than me.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
As a student, I have faced many problems, and the biggest one is financial instability. If I get awarded the Dakshana Scholarship, money will no longer be a problem for my further studies. I will be grateful because I deserve it for my family and for the hard work I have done. If I am not selected, I will take a drop year and prepare for NEET so I can serve the nation. I will consider it a sign that my preparation needs improvement.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to serve the nation and its people. I want a society where everyone lives a healthy life. I will stay committed to this and surely achieve my dream.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will help those who are needy and those who want to achieve something in their life but money is their problem. I will devote my life to making the world a better place where everyone is healthy.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I have faced many incidents in my life that inspired me, but the most inspiring one was when I once failed in Odia. It motivated me a lot. I have also seen that my parents do not get much respect in my society because they are not very literate. I believe if I become educated, they will live a respectful life. This motivation inspires me to do better.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobby is reading books of successful people and learning something from their lives. My interest is in learning new skills.
