I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Myself Suraj Bhartiya. In my family, there are 6 members. My grandmother, my father Mr. Kamala Prasad who works in a chemical factory, always tries to keep our family happy. My mother, Munni Devi, is a housewife. My younger brother, Niraj Bhartiya, is studying in class 10. He likes painting and playing video games. My younger sister, Reshama Bhartiya, is studying in class 4. She likes dancing and playing with toys.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I have dedication and the potential to achieve my goals, but due to my family’s financial condition, it becomes very difficult. If I am not selected to be a Dakshana Scholar, then I will again start my preparation for JEE and try to get admission into IIIT.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a successful software engineer.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to change the ideologies of society for sustainable development and help children who have potential but, due to lack of opportunity and quality education, are unable to achieve excellence in life.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in my village, I saw my maternal grandfather working on the landlord’s land. But when the crop was ready, the landlord gave the ownership to another person. That day I decided that I must do better in life.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am mainly interested in playing badminton, basketball, handball, making sketches and meeting new people.
