Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are 7 members in my family. My father's name is Hemkanta Mili. He is a shopkeeper. My mother's name is Rita Mili. She takes care of us and helps Papa in the shop. I have two siblings—my brother, Sanjib Mili, and my sister, Anamika Mili. They are studying in school. My grandfather is Padmanath Mili and my grandmother is Saduri Mili. They are very old and like to spend time with us.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I belong to a poor family. My parents are not capable of sending me to any private coaching. If I am not selected, I would most probably study through online classes.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a great doctor. Since my childhood, I dreamed of becoming a doctor. There was no doctor in my family or nearby locality, so I had a dream to pursue an MBBS degree.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful doctor, first of all I will help needy people like my villagers by providing them basic healthcare and medical facilities. I will try to open a hospital in my village.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One incident that motivated me was when my uncle passed away due to lack of medical facilities and poor financial condition. We do not have a proper hospital in our village, and people must travel more than 50 km for treatment.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have a couple of hobbies like reading novels, playing football, watching movies, etc. I also like to travel and explore new places.
