Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My name is Sikur Kayam. There are seven members in my family. My father's name is Lalsingh Kayam and my mother's name is Mukta Kayam. I have one elder sister named Chandmani Kayam and one younger sister named Bina Kayam. I also have an uncle and an aunt.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am good at studies but cannot afford higher education. If Dakshana awards me the scholarship, I will be able to continue my studies.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a civil engineer so that I can contribute to my country’s development. I want to work in India to serve my nation.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will financially contribute to my society and support two or three poor students in their studies.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The main thing that inspires me is my family’s condition. My father works very hard to educate us, and his dedication motivates me to study sincerely.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am highly interested in playing football. I also like reading storybooks, listening to music, and meeting new people.
