Shalu Kannaujiya
JNV Ambedkar Nagar Uttar Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are six members in my family: my father, mother, three siblings, and me. My father is a hardworking man and works in a private job. My mother is a housewife and takes care of our family with great dedication. My elder sister is married and is a homemaker. My second elder sister is pursuing medical studies in a private college through a scholarship. My younger sister is also a student and is preparing for competitive examinations. I do not have a brother. My family is very supportive and always motivates me to achieve my goals. My uncle (chacha) is a farmer.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I believe I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am capable of achieving success through hard work and dedication. I appeared for the Dakshana examination and cleared it successfully. However, due to the financial condition of my family, it is difficult for us to afford expensive private coaching. Dakshana will provide me with proper guidance and opportunities to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor. Even if I am not selected, I will continue studying at my parent JNV and prepare for the NEET examination with full dedication and self-study.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a good human being and a successful doctor who serves society, the nation, and the world. I want to help poor and helpless people who cannot afford proper medical treatment. I also wish to support deserving students who want to study but cannot continue their education due to financial difficulties. Above all, I want to fulfill my father’s dreams and make my family proud and happy.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to contribute to society by providing treatment to poor patients at low cost or free of charge whenever possible. I also want to support needy students by helping them continue their education and giving them another chance to achieve their dreams. In the future, I hope to establish a hospital where quality treatment is accessible to everyone, especially the underprivileged. I want to dedicate my entire life to serving people as a doctor.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The hopes and dreams of my family have always motivated me to work harder and achieve success. My father and Swami Vivekananda are my greatest inspirations. My father works very hard to support our family and fulfill our dreams. He was a topper in Biology during his school days, but due to financial problems and a lack of guidance about competitive exams, he could not become a doctor. I want to fulfill his dream by becoming a doctor myself. His struggles and sacrifices inspire me every day to work harder and achieve my goals.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am very interested in learning about nature, the environment, and the world around me. My hobbies include playing indoor games and reading biographies, especially the biography of Swami Vivekananda, which inspires and motivates me in difficult times. I also have a strong interest in Biology and enjoy learning more about science and the natural world.
