Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
We live in a nuclear family. My father's name is Ganesh, and he works in a shop where he earns around ?10,000 per month. He feels very happy when he gets holidays, which are very rare. My mother's name is Laxmibai, and she works as a beedi worker. She is a very hardworking woman who wants her children to be successful in life. My brother's name is Baburao, and he is studying in class 10. My uncles are farmers.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I am a student who wants to be successful in life and achieve something meaningful. My parents have struggled a lot to raise us, and now it is my responsibility to make their dreams come true. Dakshana is a great opportunity for me, and I feel blessed. If Dakshana had not selected me, I would have joined a state government college.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a person who has sufficient money to live life happily. I am currently preparing for JEE Advanced. After completing my engineering, I want to get a good placement.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When it comes to contributing to society, I feel very inspired by Mohnish Sir. I also want to inspire students and contribute to their welfare as much as I can. I would definitely like to be a role model for the children in my locality.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There was a situation in my life. When I was in 7th standard, I was studying in JNV. At that time, suddenly I got malaria. My teachers called my parents to take me home. There was not even a 100 rupee note to drop me back to school after getting better. It is not a one-day story; we faced this problem many times. My mother has some health issues. We didn’t even have money to get her the required medication. This struggle of my parents motivates me.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love spending time with the people I trust a lot. I am interested in singing and craftwork. I also enjoy helping my mom in her household chores.
