Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are seven members in my family. My father's name is Mr. Chetram, and my mother's name is Mrs. Kalpana. My father is a shopkeeper, and my mother is a housewife. I have an elder brother who is currently pursuing graduation. My younger brother and younger sister are studying in class 9. He has very good cooking skills, and she likes dancing. My maternal uncle is a farmer.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I need it very much. I belong to a financially weak family. I cannot afford high coaching fees for JEE preparation, but I want to give my full effort and become the first IITian from my community. If I am not selected, I will prepare for JEE by myself using YouTube lectures or low-cost online batches.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I am a very ambitious girl, so I don’t have only one ambition. First, I want to get into one of the top seven IITs with a good branch like ML or Data Science. Then I want to work very hard to become highly successful and make my parents proud. I also want to contribute to eradicating poverty in India and help children whose education stops due to financial problems.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After becoming successful in my life, I would work for our environment. I would try to make it better and take steps to reduce pollution from every corner. I will observe the basic necessities of my society and think of good ideas to fulfil them. Most importantly, I would work to improve sanitation in my society.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I don't remember a particular incident, but the condition of my house motivates me a lot to do my best. My father's efforts to earn our livelihood, the sweat on his forehead when he comes back home after work—these things burn a fire inside me that I have to do something for my parents, who are sacrificing their whole life so that I can get a good life and education. I want to give them the happiness and proud moments they have been waiting for many years.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to listen to soft music which gives peace to my mind and happiness to my heart. I like to read novels also. Many times, I like to move randomly and observe my surroundings and nature.
