I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family consists of four members—my father, mother, elder sister, and me. My father, Tarik Dabi, is a farmer who likes listening to the radio and staying updated on news. My mother, Jiboni Dabi, is also a farmer who likes gardening, weaving, and knitting. My sister, Rikngam Dabi, is a student who enjoys learning about different cultures and loves geography. My uncle, Taki Dabi, works in a petrol industry.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
If awarded the Dakshana Scholarship, I will do my best to improve myself in every possible way. I will make sure the scholarship never goes to waste. If not selected, I would try for some other scholarship.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I would like to become a gynaecologist.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Being a part of society, it would be a great opportunity for me to contribute to its welfare. If successful and capable, I would build hospitals/medical care centers and schools in rural areas so that people could get health checkups, treatment, and education free of cost and without traveling long distances or spending a lot of money.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
It is my family, especially my mother, who influences me to do better. Incidents in my village like people dying due to lack of proper treatment motivate me even more.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in poem writing, reading, and gardening.
