JNV Hanumangarh Rajasthan
I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I have a small family of three members—me, my father, and my mother. My father's name is Mr. Krishan Lal, and he is a shopkeeper. My mother's name is Mrs. Suman, and she is a housewife. She likes sewing suits and clothes in her free time and watches devotional programs like satsangs and listens to bhajans. My father likes interacting with his customers and chatting with people, and he also likes cooking sweets. My parents are very hardworking, and I feel very grateful and proud to say that I am their son.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am worthy of it and have the potential to crack JEE Advanced and get selected for B.Tech/B.E at an IIT. If I was not selected for the Dakshana Scholarship, I would have chosen a private coaching institute for preparation, which would cost me around 2 lakh per year, and even then I would not get the mentorship and competition that Dakshana provides. Thanks to Dakshana for giving me the golden opportunity to show my full potential.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a successful person on whom his family and society can rely—someone who can contribute to society in every way possible. I want to gain as much knowledge as I can about the world and the universe and learn as many skills as possible.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to contribute to society in every way I can, such as by spreading knowledge and creating awareness in villages about NVS and NGOs like Dakshana that help them develop. I will guide the new generation on the right path.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in class VI at JNV, I scored the highest marks in mathematics in a test. Before that, I believed becoming a topper was out of my reach, so I never tried. But that incident made me realize that I can be a topper too. From then on, I improved, learned more, and continued growing.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like many things like music, games and computers. But mainly I like chess, piano, singing, flute and science. I also like watching anime and movies and listening to music in my free time.
