Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Shri Anil Appaso Akkole. He is a farmer and the backbone of our family. My mother, Smt. Vidya Anil Akkole, is a housewife. I have an elder sister, Priyanka Akkole, who is studying MBBS and is in her internship year. I also have an elder brother, Omkar Akkole, who is studying BAMS. I have a grandmother named Shobha. This is all about my family.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I am awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because of my efforts toward my studies. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will join a local college, but from there I may not get a good job. Dakshana is a boon for students like me, and I am fortunate to receive this opportunity. It will help me achieve my dream.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
The main ambition of my life is to make my family proud in society because they believe that I will do something big in life. Personally, I want to achieve my dream of becoming an IITian from a top IIT. After achieving my dream, I will contribute wholeheartedly to the development of our country.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After becoming a successful person, I will work for the growth and development of our nation. I will try my best to provide quality education to the needy who cannot afford school fees. I will also encourage parents to educate their children and make them self-dependent. I will personally try to preserve the natural resources of Earth so that our environment and we remain healthy.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There were a few incidents in my life that made me demotivated. Such incidents happened in class 11 and 12 when I was unable to study due to unavoidable reasons, resulting in a decrease in my marks. I got very depressed, but I did not give up. I worked hard and got a chance to appear for the JDST 2025 exam. Fortunately, I was selected. The happiness I got after getting selected in Dakshana was unexpressible. This moment changed me internally and motivated me to do something big.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I mainly do activities such as playing cricket, watching new movies, and reading the Bhagavad Gita. I am interested in watching Virat Kohli play.
