JNV Barabanki Uttar Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family is a joint family, but due to difficult circumstances, only nine members currently live together. My father is a farmer, and we own a small piece of land. My mother is a housewife. I have one elder brother who is studying in Class 8 and has also prepared for JNV, but unfortunately, he could not get selected. We all love and care for each other, and our family income is around ?8000. My elder brother is also a farmer. My mother is educated, and my father is searching for work opportunities. He has sacrificed a lot for my studies and for the well-being of our family.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I want to get selected for the Dakshana Scholarship because it will help me achieve my dreams. I want to prepare for NEET, and private coaching institutes are very expensive for my family. Dakshana is a great opportunity for students like me who dream of becoming doctors but face financial difficulties. If I am selected, I will work very hard and give my best effort in my studies. If I am not selected for the Dakshana Scholarship program, I will continue studying on my own and try my best to crack the examination with the help of other available platforms and resources.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a doctor and achieve both professional and financial stability. After achieving this goal, I want to serve the nation and help society in every possible way I can.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become successful, I would like to contribute towards improving the healthcare sector, especially in rural areas where proper medical facilities are lacking. I would organize health camps and awareness programs in villages because many people are unaware of the symptoms of serious diseases. I also want to provide treatment at affordable costs so that everyone can receive proper healthcare services.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in Class 2, I noticed that everyone around me had dreams and ambitions, but I did not know what I wanted to become. One day, I read a story in my English textbook about doctors and the important work they do for society. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I also saw how doctors worked tirelessly to save people’s lives. These experiences inspired me greatly and strengthened my desire to become a doctor.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies include reading novels and writing stories and poems. I also enjoy painting whenever I have free time. In addition, I like watching movies and web series for entertainment.
