Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Laksham Pape Singh. He is a farmer, and papaya farming is his main occupation. He likes listening to music. My mother’s name is Laksham Snehla Devi. She is a self-employed worker and enjoys listening to bhajans and talking with neighbours. My elder sister’s name is Laksham Priya Devi. She is studying in college and likes reading newspapers. My younger sister’s name is Laksham Pallavi Devi. She likes watching television and eating fast food. My uncle’s name is Devn Laksham Devn Singh. He is a shopkeeper and enjoys listening to the radio.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am willing to put my best effort into achieving my dream of becoming a doctor. Due to a lack of financial resources, I need support, and this scholarship would help me achieve my goals and serve people who are in need. If I do not get this scholarship, I will continue my studies with determination and hard work. I also want to inspire young girls in my locality who are willing to study and achieve success in life.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a successful person and help those who are in need. I want to encourage girls to study and support them in choosing the career paths they truly want. I also want to remove discrimination from society and create a system where both men and women are given equal value in life. I wish to spread awareness about equality in my state, country, and the world so that society can change for the better.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I want to open a small residential school for girls in my locality to provide free education. If I become a doctor, I would like to organize regular health camps and distribute free medicines. I also want to open a book bank where local women of all ages can freely access books and learning materials. I would encourage girls to participate in sports, food, and educational activities by giving them proper guidance and support so they can build a better future.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The incident that motivated me the most was the passing away of my brother. When I met him for the last time, he was unconscious. He responded only after hearing my voice, but after a few days, he passed away. This incident remained deeply in my mind because, even in his final moments, he recognized me. I realized that he wanted me to take care of my mother and sisters. Since then, I have become more determined to work hard, become successful, and support my family.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in listening to music and enjoy spending my time reading books. Recently, I developed a new hobby, which is learning to play the guitar.
