Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is K. Shanker. He is a daily-wage labourer. My mother’s name is K. Parvathi and she is a housewife. My parents always support me in education and guide me on the correct path. They want me to become successful so that future generations of our family do not live in poverty.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am consistent and hardworking. I cannot afford this level of education in private institutes due to my financial condition. I am self-confident, and if Dakshana awards me this scholarship, I can perform well. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If I am not selected, I will still give my 100% and prepare for JEE with online coaching.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become an engineer and earn more money so I can support my family and society. I want to support and encourage students who need education. I want to become an ideal person in society and inspire students.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I want to support society by giving education to students who cannot afford it due to financial conditions. I want to become a backbone for such families and promote education in society. After becoming successful, I will work for the development of the world in the area of technology.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In my childhood when I was in class 6, my parents took me to a Navodaya coaching centre. The sir said the fees were ?5000, but my father understood it as ?500 and gave ?500. That moment made me think about our family condition and lack of education. I decided to remove the poverty in my family and get good education.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are reading books based on Hindu mythology and Roman kings. They are very motivating. My hobbies also include playing video games and learning something new every day.
