Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I have seven members in our family. My father’s name is Hanamant; he is a labourer/farmer and fulfils all our family needs. My mother, Rukmini, is a housewife. I have two younger sisters who are studying in high school and a younger brother studying in primary school. Our grandmother lives with us. My family supports me a lot. They want to live happily, so our parents try to educate us, even though our financial condition is poor.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I was awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I want to become a doctor. I believe this scholarship will help me fulfill my dream. I have the potential to achieve my goals, and I will give my best. If I did not get the scholarship, I might not be able to fulfill my wishes. I might apply for a BSc degree.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a doctor. I want to live an independent life, fulfill my parents’ wishes, and continue my brother’s and sister’s education. I want to fulfill my dreams, help others, provide all facilities to my parents, and help my siblings become successful.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want to become a doctor. I want to serve the nation and save the lives of millions of people. I want to earn a good amount of money and donate to ashrams and NGOs like Dakshana, who help others and improve society. I want to provide treatment and medicines at lower cost for poor people and make them available for everyone.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are many incidents that inspired me to do better. My father is my biggest inspiration. My family always supports me and encourages me to reach my goals. I am also inspired by the life of APJ Abdul Kalam. Dakshana also motivates me to achieve success.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are writing calligraphy, drawing, reading novels, listening to songs and stories, and talking with my friends.
