Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a farmer on his own land. He also works as a fariwala on the streets of Delhi and lives there on rent. My mother is a housewife and has been facing mental health issues for about eight years. My father gets her medicine from a government hospital in Agra. I have a younger brother who lives at home with my mother and goes to school. I also have a younger sister who studies in JNV Agra in Class 12 and wants to be a doctor. I have no uncles. My mama is also a land worker.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am capable and motivated towards my goal. I only need support from Dakshana, an NGO that helps poor children achieve their dreams. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will study online in a library and also teach small kids in my society so that I don’t burden my parents with my study expenses.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a neurologist. I also want to help poor children with their studies. I want to open a hospital in a rural area where medicines will be provided free of cost to poor people and children.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become a successful doctor, I will provide free treatment to poor people who cannot get proper healthcare due to lack of money. I will support poor children in their higher studies. I will motivate children and parents in my society about the importance of education so more children can understand its value and contribute positively to the country and humanity.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in 7th class, there was a road accident happened with my grandmother. Due to lack of money, we could not save our grandmother's life. That moment I decided to become a successful doctor and will help those people who are not able to get proper treatment or could not save their family members due to lack of money.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Generally, I love to write a diary in my free time. Apart from that, I love to play Kabaddi, and I am also quite interested in learning foreign languages.
