My mother's name is Mamta, and she is a housewife who always takes care of us more than herself. My sister's name is Namrata, and she is in class 11. In my family, there are two uncles—one is a bank employee and the other is a farmer.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
As a Navodayan, I was taken from the ground level to my highest potential by JNV to achieve my goals. I think I can have a similar environment at Dakshana, and I am sure that I can do whatever Dakshana expects from an ideal student. If Dakshana does not select me, I will be struggling in my life.

I want to do things that make my soul happy, and I also want to spread happiness in society. I want to become a comedian.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Being a boy who has been living in a residential school free of cost for seven years, I have seen many types of people with different problems. Now my inner self has become one that wants to serve—serving not only food and education but also happiness and love.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
During my childhood, I used to paint my home with my father. Even though our home wasn’t so good, we painted it with dedication. My father once told me that it doesn’t matter what we have; the desire to make things better is what matters. Since then, I have tried to make my life better.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in writing things that make me happy and relate to my life, like poems and diary entries.
