Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Jarapala Pallavi from Andhra Pradesh. My father's name is Nagaraju; he likes farming and does fieldwork. My mother's name is Nagamani, and she helps my father with farming. My sister, Prathyusha, is married. My chacha also does farming.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship. I cracked JEE with a low percentile through my own preparation. We don’t have money for coaching or another drop year, so Dakshana is a great opportunity for me. If I am not selected, I will join another state college.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to complete my graduation from IIT Madras. I like aeronautics.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become successful, then I will do social service for poor people who are suffering due to lack of education.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Yes, I am in 8th standard. My English teacher taught a lesson about A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Sir. In this lesson, I understood every incident of his life—how he suffered for education and how he worked hard. So, I decided that failure is a stepping stone to success.
