Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family has five members—my father, Karpal Dass; my mother, Veena Devi; and my two younger brothers, Mohit and Ashish. My father is a labourer and my mother is a homemaker. Mohit is studying in class 11 and Ashish is studying in class 5.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I am deserving of this scholarship because of my circumstances. If I get this scholarship, I will receive a motivating environment for preparation and will be able to feel the actual competition. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I may face difficulties, but I will continue working hard to achieve my dream. I believe that internal motivation is the best motivation.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to do something great so I can support my family and inspire my society. I want my parents and future generations to be proud of me.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become successful, I will inspire my society to do something different in their lives. I will help the needy people so they can achieve their dreams. As an engineer, I will work hard for society and for the world. I will work honestly and without corruption.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My parents are the biggest inspiration for me. Whenever I see them or think about them, I always get motivation to do something to make their lives easier. I always imagine the smile on my parents’ faces at my success. This gives me a burning desire to do something great in my life.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My aim is to travel to holy and mysterious places. My hobbies are listening to music, reading self-help books, and doing exercise.
