Daksh Khobragade

JNV Balaghat Madhya Pradesh
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Mr. Mukesh Khobragade. He is a primary teacher in a private school and values discipline a lot. My mother’s name is Mrs. Manjulata Khobragade, and she is a homemaker who loves spending time with family. My younger sister’s name is Liza Khobragade; she is studying in Class 6 and loves sketching. My grandmother’s name is Rayan Khobragade, and she loves caring for her grandchildren.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I fulfill all the required criteria and I want to become a highly qualified doctor and help society. For this, I have to qualify NEET to get admission in a medical college and gain the required knowledge. If I were not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, then I would prepare for NEET through online and self-study. I would work hard to get admission in a medical college next year.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to provide the best possible medical facilities to the financially weaker sections of our society. If possible, I want to expand this project across my state and all over India. My goal is to give as much as possible to society, especially to the financially weaker sections.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful doctor, I will open a multispecialty hospital where financially weaker people can get free medical facilities. In most hospitals, you need to pay before consultation, but I want to open a hospital where people receive treatment whether they have money or not.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One incident that motivated me to become a highly qualified doctor was when my uncle (Tauji) passed away because he didn’t get proper treatment on time. He had a heart attack, and due to financial problems, he didn’t receive timely treatment and passed away. From that day, I decided to become a highly qualified doctor so no one suffers like this. I want to help needy people and provide proper medical facilities to everyone.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love reading books, listening to music, playing cricket and volleyball, and doing art work.
