Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Mr. Vinod Kumar, and he is a farmer. My mother, Mrs. Anita, is a housewife and also helps with farm work. I have a younger brother and sister—Raghav and Riya. Riya is studying in class 7 at JNV Korba, and my brother is in class 5. My uncle, Mr. Pramod Kumar, is a private employee. He always guides and supports me in my academics and future planning.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
The Dakshana Scholarship is a very good opportunity for students like me who belong to a low-income background. If I am not selected, I may take admission in any state college.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to make my family proud. I want to become a capable daughter and sister who can fulfill their requirements and wishes, just like Chiraag (Jind), and never let them down.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to start with my village, Dholpur, where the education rate is still very low. Most children drop out and start working. I want to encourage parents to guide and support their children, provide academic material, proper buildings, and persuade nearby government officers to look after the well-being of schools. This will be possible when I am in a good position.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day, my father and I went shopping. I liked a pair of shoes. My father purchased it, but I understood from his faded face that the price of the shoes was too much for us. From that day, I decided I would give my best to improve my family’s financial condition.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Reading books and novels, playing basketball and drawing.
