Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are seven members in my family—my parents, four brothers, and one sister. My father, Gyanendra Singh, works in a tent house. He wants to see me become a successful person and always advises me to avoid bad habits. My mother, Munni Devi, is a housewife. She hasn’t seen much in life, so she isn’t familiar with many things. Her dream is “Unka ladka pad likh kar accha officer bane.” For my mother, our family means everything. I had four brothers. My elder brother, Mohit, is no more—he was killed by his in-laws. Another brother, Rohit, suffered from coma for 15 days and lost his memory, so he could not continue studying and now works with my father. I and my younger brother are studying, and we want to achieve something big.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I deserve it. Dakshana promotes students who cannot afford education, and I am one of them. I will become a respected man (doctor). I will also try to promote and support more people like me who are unable to afford education.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is very great. I cannot tell anyone because Acharya says, “Yojna jitni gupt, utni safal rahegi.” My aim will add a new page to history with good works. I shall achieve my aim with 100% effort.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will contribute to my country as much as possible in every field, just like Monish Sir. I will help the youth in achieving their aims because youths are the future of tomorrow.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Once I became very ill. We were very poor, and whatever money was possible, my mother carried for my medicine. All the money got spent on medicine. The distance between the clinic and my house was about 12 km. My mother carried me on her shoulders and started walking. That night around 12 o’clock we reached home. That day I swore that I would make a day come when my mother would go to the fields in a car. I will make that day happen.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to study business books and play football. I want to use my time as efficiently as possible to achieve my goals because time is very limited.
