Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Currently, there are a total of eight members in my family. My father, Mr. Ram Sewak, is a farmer. My mother, Smt. Gyan Shri, is a homemaker. I have four sisters. The eldest, Mrs. Jyoti, is married, so including her we are nine members in the family. After her comes Miss Kavita, then Garima, and the youngest, Pravina. She is also younger than me. My grandmother’s name is Mrs. Jashoda Devi, and my grandfather’s brother, Shri Ahibaran Singh, is also a farmer. My uncle, Shyamsunder, is also a farmer.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I have worked hard to get selected for the Dakshana Scholarship. I have all the necessary qualities to get selected. If I do not get selected, I will either purchase an online batch or join another coaching institute for my JEE preparation.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Until Class 12 I wanted to be an Army officer, but I changed my goal and decided to become an IITian. Now I want to be an engineer. After succeeding, I will first settle my family economically, and then work to contribute to my country in every possible way.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want to contribute to society and the world in every possible way. After becoming an engineer, I will contribute to my society economically and socially, and to the world through honest and committed work. I will also try to invent something helpful for the upcoming generation.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are many incidents that inspired me, but my family’s economic condition has always been a motivation for me to do better. As I grew up, I saw how hard my father works for the family. Many times he sacrifices his happiness for us. I do not have a specific incident; there are many incidents that inspire me from time to time.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
To get continuous knowledge is my main interest. Watching movies is also my interest and hobby. Solving Maths questions is also my interest.
