Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Mithilesh, is a farmer by profession. My mother, Suman Verma, is a housewife. I have one younger brother, Divyansh Patel, who is currently studying in Class 10 in a private school. He wants to clear IIT and become a successful engineer. Both of my parents work very hard to provide quality education to us. Their only dream is to make me and my brother successful in life. I want to make them proud.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I come from an area where everyone is not able to get proper education. By becoming a doctor, I want to set an example for the upcoming generation, as there is no medical officer in my village. I will be the first if selected. I am fully determined, as not only my family but also my relatives have high expectations from me.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a successful doctor. By becoming a doctor, I want to provide services to remote areas where there are no proper medical facilities. My aim is that no one should die due to lack of medical treatment.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will try to reach those sections of society that are not getting proper medical treatment or awareness. I will organize regular campaigns and look after them. Apart from this, I will try to contribute to their education and help them progress in society.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is not a single incident but many incidents I have gone through. I come from a remote area of my district where medical facilities are not well distributed. I often see people in my village diagnosed with severe diseases like cancer but unable to get proper treatment either due to lack of money or awareness. Due to these reasons, I want to become a doctor.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am very fond of listening to music. I love to listen to old Hindi songs and sing them. Apart from this, I also like to play chess.
