I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
We are five members in my family. My father, Ashfaq Ahmed, runs a home business. My mother, Roshan Ara, is a housewife. My elder sibling is pursuing higher education (MBBS). My younger sibling is in Class 1st. My father and mother both are interested in the education of their children. My elder sibling is pursuing MBBS, so it is all about the medical field that he is currently practicing, while my younger sibling is focused on academics and dance.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
The one thing that has motivated me throughout my pre-navodaya life and has always pushed me beyond my limits is Dakshana. I have always aspired to be a Dakshana scholar ever since I came to know about it. Moreover, it is the best place to be the best version of myself. If I were awarded the Dakshana Scholarship, I would have joined some other institute for my two-year NEET coaching, or I would have chosen the Arts stream, as I was quite interested in law too. However, now it is all about NEET, and I know that I shall crack it.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a well-known and excellent doctor of my time, in such a way that people feel relieved just by hearing my name. I want to serve people, especially those in need. My efforts shall always be directed toward giving people hope.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
My contribution to society as a doctor will obviously be through low-cost treatment, proper healthcare facilities in underdeveloped areas, and meaningful medical support. More than that, I shall promote girl education schemes, support them financially when possible, and create awareness programs for smaller diseases, which can have a major impact. In this way, I believe prevention is better than cure.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
It has been my goal throughout my student life to never be less than my potential. I have never scored less than 95%, but it was my first time when I scored 89.4% in my 10th board examination, which was truly humiliating for me. As well as reflecting on my life, I realized that I had not scored up to my true potential or what I deserved. This experience has now pushed me to exceed all my limits.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have recently learned the art of calligraphy, and I am also interested in social speaking. Most of the time, it is only during school assemblies where I get opportunities to speak, but whenever I get the chance to speak publicly, I never miss it.
