Chhote Lal Tripathi Shukdev Pandey Inter College Musallam Pur Bahraich I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Anshuman Mishra. There are five members in my family. My father, Mr. Saket Kumar Mishra, is a farmer on his own land. He always encourages me to do something big. My mother, Mrs. Hemwati, is a housewife who takes great care of us. My brother, Devanshu Mishra, is pursuing MBBS from GMC Bahraich and helps me with academic issues. My sister, Anamika Mishra, is preparing for the NEET exam. I have learned many things from her and I like discussing my issues with her. My maternal uncle is also a farmer.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I am a perfect scholar to be awarded this prestigious scholarship because my parents cannot afford coaching fees for IIT-JEE preparation. This scholarship is like a boon for me. If I am not selected, I will never give up and will continue my studies with the limited resources available to me.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a great IITian from a top IIT. For this, I am ready to work very hard. After graduating from IIT, I would like to become a software engineer. I will definitely work for the development of our country and society. I will also put effort into making our education system stronger and more effective.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After getting success, I would try my best to reform our country. I will put my efforts into education by providing facilities to many needy students. I will promote students to do something big in life. In addition, I will spread awareness about the harms of child labour and work for the conservation of our precious environment.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Initially I was weak in SST. I used to face difficulty remembering history and geography, so I did not get good marks. I was very upset but I didn’t give up. My SST teacher taught very well and motivated me to change my study method. Slowly I got interest in SST, worked hard, and then scored very good marks in higher classes. Even in boards I got 97 marks. This motivated me a lot.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies include playing chess, solving mind games and keenly watching the beauty of nature. I also have interest in space, so I like seeing the night sky and reading about famous astronauts and scientists. I like listening to devotional songs.
