JNV Gaya - I Bihar I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Shri Sushil Kumar. He is a farmer and a very honest person. I think he is a good parent because he always guides and supports us. My mother’s name is Mrs. Sangita Devi. She is a housewife and a very caring lady. Although she is illiterate, she is very knowledgeable because she has taught me many good values and life lessons. My elder brother’s name is Aditya Kumar. He is a student and always motivates me to study well. I am thankful to God for giving me such a good family and elder brother.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am a disciplined student from a very poor family background. I belong to a rural area, and I want to overcome the limitations in the Indian healthcare system. If I am not selected for the scholarship, I may not be able to receive a quality education because the education system in rural areas is not sufficient for preparing students for competitive exams such as NEET and JEE.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to serve society. I want to become a good doctor and help people in need. Whenever I hear about people who are unable to receive proper medical treatment, I feel emotional. Therefore, I want to become a professional doctor and serve and treat all people equally and respectfully.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful doctor, I want to establish healthcare centers in rural areas so that poor people can also receive good and advanced medical facilities. Just like Anand Kumar started Super 30, I also want to work for the welfare of society through education and medical services.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was a small child, I once saw that poor people in society were often neglected because they did not have money or power. At that time, I decided that when I grew up, I would respect everyone equally and help people maintain their dignity. Later, I realized that many people in our country do not receive proper medical treatment and sometimes lose their lives because of this problem. This inspired me to become a doctor and provide poor people with the best possible medical facilities and treatment.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I do not have any specific hobbies, but I am very interested in learning new things.
