Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I live in a small and happy family. It includes my father, Mr. Kanchha Lama, who works in a tea estate as a labourer; my mother, Mrs. Mukti Lama, who also works in the tea estate as a daily wage worker and takes care of our home; my brother, Mr. Arman Lama, who is doing his undergraduate course from a local college; and lastly, myself, Mr. Abhisek Lama, who is preparing for IIT-JEE 2026.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship as I fulfill all the criteria required to be a Dakshana Scholar, and due to my financial status, I need the scholarship for my preparation for JEE Advanced 2026. If I am not selected, then I will prepare through self-study and online content, as I cannot afford offline coaching. But I will not give up on my dream; I will give my 100 percent.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to be an entrepreneur with a well-known personality in global marketing. I also want to become the President of India and contribute my knowledge and wisdom to the welfare of my country and take its growth forward in every field.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After becoming successful, I would like to contribute to society and the world in many ways. I am a nature lover, so I would like to participate in programs held for environmental welfare. I would also like to spread knowledge about healthy and fit living as a fitness enthusiast.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day I was with my uncle. He is a well-settled person from our society. It was winter and he saw some children without shoes or slippers. So he collected all their names and gave them shoes. The smile those children had after wearing the shoes motivated me to help others.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have keen interest in learning new skills like learning new languages and new technological things. My hobbies are singing, playing guitar, reading novels, remembering my beautiful old memories and planning my future.
