Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family consists of my father, my mother, and me. My father’s name is Prakash Chandra Raul. He is a mechanic and he loves his work very much. My mother’s name is Chandrakala Raul. She is a housewife and she likes cooking. I am the only child of my parents. My uncle’s name is Narsingh Majhi. He is a farmer and likes working in the fields.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I want to become a doctor. My parents’ financial condition is not very good, so they are unable to afford proper facilities for my future studies. I am a hardworking student, and if I receive the Dakshana Scholarship, I will work hard and stay focused to achieve my goals and fulfill my dream.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a doctor. It is the biggest ambition of my life. I want to open a hospital and treat people who are unable to afford proper healthcare facilities.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want to open a hospital and provide basic healthcare facilities to people in need. I also want to do research after completing my medical studies and help find cures and treatments for diseases that are not yet curable.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Since my childhood, I have heard my father say that he wants a doctor in our family. My grandfather died due to a chronic disease. Even though he received proper treatment, there were very few doctors and medical facilities in our village at that time. This incident inspired and motivated me to become a doctor so that I can help people in need.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are reading novels and dancing.
