JNV Gaya - I Bihar I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are four members in my family: my father, mother, elder brother, and me. My father is a farmer, my mother is a housewife, and my brother is currently a student pursuing B.Tech. They all believe in hard work and want to become successful in life because they have struggled a lot due to their poor background. Now, my parents do not want their children to suffer the same hardships in the future.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship Test because I have the ability to achieve excellent results through it. If I am not selected, I will have to prepare only from the books provided by my parent JNV, which may not be sufficient to achieve the best outcome.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a successful person, make my family proud, and become financially and socially stable so that I can pursue my dream of being trained at LBSNAA, Mussoorie.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I want to change the mentality of society that girls should have the power to live independently and achieve success just like boys. They should have the ability to live alone, independently, and happily without support. Mainly, I want to educate and spread awareness among the illiterate villagers in my society. I want them to rise and work to their full potential.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no particular incident, but I repeatedly feel motivated whenever I see backward areas. Their poverty, illiteracy, and lack of hygiene deeply bother me. I think about the children there who do not have proper education or guidance and are unaware of the academic competition ahead of them. I feel very bad for them and often think that I should do something. Therefore, when I become successful, I will try to change their situation. This pain within me motivates and inspires me to become an example for them and guide them in every possible way.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interests and hobbies include playing badminton, singing, sketching, and photography.
