Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Jiten Mandal. He is a farmer and occasionally works in a hotel. My mother's name is Pratima Mandal; she is a housewife. I have an elder sister who is studying in class 6. My mama also lives with us.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I am giving my best in my studies, and I belong to a poor family. If I am not selected as a Dakshana scholar, I will join a good college and become the best version of myself to serve the entire JNV family.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a doctor and a good citizen who can serve the nation.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
In every possible way I can, in my succeeding life.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no specific incident, but my parents’ innocent faces and my father’s hard work inspire me every day. I want to fulfill their expectations as well as my own, and I also hope to do something for my society. This motivates me to do better.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to acquire extra knowledge beyond my studies.
