Mahesh Navale
JNV Nasik Maharashtra I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
In my family, there are four members—my father, mother, sister, and me. My father, Mr. Navnath Ramnath Navale, does farming for a living and supports our family. My mother also helps in farming. My sister is currently studying in Class 9. My uncles also do farming for their living.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
My father earns by farming, and we are not financially stable enough to join any private coaching for further studies or competitive exams. Dakshana provides opportunities to students who are good at studies but financially unable to join coaching or buy study material. I am also one of those students. If I am not selected for Dakshana, I will study myself with the help of online learning and try to do my best.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a successful doctor, support my family, and become financially stable.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will contribute to society in many ways. As a doctor, I will treat people effectively. I will spread awareness among villagers about the importance of education, health, and hygiene. I will also treat people free of cost if they cannot afford hospital treatment.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day, when there was alumni meet in our school (JNV Nashik), one of the alumni students delivered a speech who was an IPS officer, Mr. Prashat Dagale, graduated from IISER Pune. He shared his experience of how he reached his ambition, how he achieved his goal by struggling a lot with constant efforts and determination. That experience of him boosted my confidence and motivated to do best in my life.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is playing ground games like volleyball and cricket, and also seeking knowledge about various things that seem curious.
