Vaishvi Sharma
JNV Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father died when I was a kid. Since then, I have been living with my maternal grandma. My mother is a private employee. I have an older brother, but he lives with our paternal grandmother. My immediate uncles (maternal) are a government employee and a small DJ owner respectively.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana provides an opportunity to do your best and stay focused for one year. Students who are willing to give their best and stay focused, along with factors like financial and economic background, deserve the Dakshana Scholarship. I have successfully cleared JDST and the interview, and I satisfy all the required criteria. That’s why I think I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship. If I am not selected, I will find another way that provides similar advantages.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ultimate goal is to become a renowned psychiatrist and do my post-graduation from NIMHANS, Bangalore.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
First, I would donate to every institute that contributed to my success. I would begin contributing from my neighborhood, and if I become capable, I would surely contribute on a larger level. Moreover, as a psychiatrist, I would heal the mental health of many people and contribute to the well-being of society at the mental level.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no specific incident, but there is a whole person who motivates me every day — my mother. Her consistent efforts to make my life comfortable, even when it is not easy for her, push me to work harder and make her proud. She is my North Star.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interests are reading books, trekking, and singing. My hobby is reading books.
