Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Maruti, and he is a farmer. My whole family depends on my father. My mother's name is Laxmi. She is a housewife and takes care of our family and also helps my father. I have two brothers—Tippanna, studying in Class 12, and Harsha, studying in Class 10. My brothers also studied in JNV Gadag.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I belong to a poor family. I do not have enough money for higher studies. It is my father’s dream and mine to become a doctor, and for that, we must clear NEET. In my JNV, I did not get much support for NEET preparation, but I still put in my best effort, although it was not sufficient. If I am not selected to Dakshana, I do not know whether my dream will be fulfilled or not. I may take a one-year gap for self-study at home, but even that is uncertain.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a good doctor and provide good treatment to society. I want to earn money, buy land and a bike, and build a good home. I want to open my own hospital so I can take care of poor people who cannot get care in big hospitals and also provide jobs.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful doctor, I will first visit my school and meet the students of 11th and 12th, as these classes are turning points of life. I feel that we should provide good-quality teaching in JNV by arranging external faculty so they can clear their exams in 12th itself. I will also donate for studies and sports.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
We are poor, and in my family one incident happened — a fight for land. This inspired me to make or buy land. Also, my father dreams that I become a doctor. I am interested in helping people.

Playing football, running, doing art, and listening to songs.
