Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family is small with 4 members. My father, Lokesh Naik, is the source of income for our family; he works on others’ land as a labourer and earns daily wages. My mother, Nethravathi Bai, is a housewife. My brother, Swaroop Naik, is studying in Class 10 in a state residential school. My uncle and his family live separately in our native place. He also works as a daily wage labourer.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
If I was not selected for Dakshana, my plan was to choose Biotechnology for my higher studies or take a partial drop with an online course for NEET 2026.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My main ambition is to make my parents proud in any situation. My goal is to become a doctor, something I have dreamt of since childhood. After that, I want to continue in the surgery field (MS) and become a cardiologist. After my success, I want to help students who struggle to get education due to poverty.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
As I mentioned, I primarily want to help students who cannot get education due to poverty and help people in rural areas as much as possible in their suffering.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The incident that challenged me the most was when I was in 5th grade, and my family was financially very weak. We couldn’t even afford daily needs. That situation made me study well and do good in life.

I am very much interested in dancing and singing. My hobby is reading books such as biographies and novels.
