Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Mr. Ajit Kumar Singh, is an inspiration to me. He is a farmer, and whenever I see him, I get motivated to not stop in any situation. He has a keen interest in geopolitical issues. My mother, Mrs. Arti Singh, is a housewife, and I get strength and courage from her. She loves singing and cooking. I have one sibling—my brother, Hardik Singh. He is pursuing B.Tech from Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara, Gujarat, and he loves poetry.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
The Dakshana Scholarship is one of the best opportunities for children like me who come from economically weaker sections. Due to financial issues, I couldn’t prepare for JEE from Class 11. But I am dedicated and focused on my JEE exam. I want to give myself one chance with my full potential. I will try my best to utilize the scholarship and not waste the hopes of Dakshana and my family. If I do not get selected, I will take an education loan and join a government college through my JEE Mains percentile.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
The ambition of my life is to serve my country in every way I can. The poverty and illiteracy in my country are issues I want to work on and root out. I want to support hidden talent and provide them a platform. I want to help them convert their talent into a livelihood.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will collaborate with an educational NGO and try my best to provide free and quality education to the needy ones. I want to root out child labour and help women in my society become independent.

I am a Navodaya student. In an alumni meet, a few seniors came and told us about the suffering they went through to get success. I suddenly remembered the hardships of my parents to provide me the best. On that day, I decided I will have to give my parents a comfortable life, and for that, I have to work very hard.
