I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a shopkeeper, and we have a shop in our village. My mother is a housewife, and I have one brother who is currently in class 11.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana Scholarship is a source of hope for students whose financial background is poor, and my financial condition is such that we sometimes cannot get proper food to eat. So, I think I should be awarded the scholarship. If I am not selected, then I will try to study through online resources.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to give my parents a better life than today.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After becoming an engineer, I will try to give my best to the world through the knowledge and skills I gain. Besides that, I will also follow the motto of Navodaya, i.e., “Come to learn and go to serve,” by helping poor people. This can be done either by providing good health or good education.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day I was in my house peacefully listening to music when suddenly my father called me and said he had been injured at his work site. Me and my mother went there and took him to a nearby hospital. My father was injured in several parts of his body, and my mother was crying badly. That day I decided that one day I will earn enough money so that my father can live the rest of his life peacefully with no more scars on his body.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am fond of travelling as well as painting, and I also like watching movies and listening to songs.
