Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Kaleshwar Chaurasiya. He is a farmer by occupation. My mother’s name is Nilam Devi and she is a housewife who takes care of all domestic work. My elder brother’s name is Mukesh Chaurasiya. My parents always support me in education, especially financially, and they continuously motivate me to perform better.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I am consistent, hardworking, and dedicated to my goal. This scholarship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and my family. If I am not selected, I won’t lose hope. I will continue my IIT JEE preparation through self-study or online coaching.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to serve in the Indian civil services. My aim is to become an ideal person and a good example for society and for students who look up to me and get inspired to pursue their dreams.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a successful person in my life, I would like to contribute to the society by giving education to those students who are not able to afford education due to poverty.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Once upon a time, when I was approximately 9–10 years old, my whole family was going to attend a function. After participating, we were returning home. In the middle of the journey, suddenly a policeman came in front of our car and said “stop,” and gave an illogical reason to take money from my father. He also talked in rough language. This incident totally changed my mindset, and I thought to change this kind of disgusting system. The only way to change such a system is through higher education.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are reading books and watching pictures. I am interested in playing cricket, swimming, and cooking food. I am also interested in knowing about new technology.
