Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Jay Kumar Kurrey. He is an electrician. My mother's name is Rajni Kurrey, and she is a housewife. My brother's name is Shivam Kurrey, and he is studying in college.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think this scholarship will help me in my further studies so that my family doesn’t have to worry about my education. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will continue my studies through free YouTube videos for JEE Main and Advanced 2026.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a capable person who can uplift my family and break the cycle of poverty. I want to fulfill my parents’ dreams. My family has supported me in every situation, so I just want to make them proud and happy and relieve them from the pain they endure for me.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I am a Navodayan, and my studies were free from Class 6 to 12. So, when I become successful, I want to make society a better place and help children like me who didn't get the chance to rise earlier.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Since childhood, I have seen my father work hard for our basic needs. He lived far from us because of work. When he came home, I had to leave for JNV. So now I want to become so successful that I can spend more time with my family.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like watching movies, series, anime, playing video games and volleyball. I love reading novels, manga and books, and listening to music.
