Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are ten members in my family. I have four brothers (including me) and four sisters. My father's name is Om Prakash. He is a labourer and supports my growth and success. My mother's name is Shakuntala. She is a housewife. My elder brothers' names are Sanjay, who is currently employed as a bus conductor, and Shivsagar, who is currently unemployed. My younger brother is studying in class 3. This is all about my family.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
For the preparation of JEE, I need proper guidance and quality education, but my family background is not so strong that we can afford good coaching. If I get the Dakshana Scholarship, then I can prepare well for my JEE exam. If I am not selected, then I will prepare from home.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My first ambition is to stabilize my family’s economic condition. In my village, people do not value education and there are no facilities for it. I want to ensure that I can provide all the facilities needed for better education.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
As I wrote in the above answer, I want to serve society by providing quality education so that all children in my society can be educated and uplifted from poverty, creating a positive impact. I want to help others in the best way I can and provide solutions to their problems.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are many incidents in my life that have motivated me from time to time, like my family’s needs not being fulfilled due to low income and instability. But there is one incident that motivates me the most. When I joined Navodaya, I met many people, but one bhaiya (senior) inspired me the most. He studied hard and wanted to join IIT. After class 10, he joined a private school and always guided me. After 1.5 years of leaving Navodaya, he committed suicide due to misbehavior by the school principal (as per newspaper). He was very close to me. I never forgot him. I want some change in the education system, and that is possible only through studying.

In my free time, I like playing cricket, knowing facts related to psychology, working with computers and learning about global relations.
