Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I have a nuclear family of 4 members—my father, Saroj Kumar Das; my mother, Rita Rani Das; my sister, Sonalika Das; and me. My father is a farmer, and my mother is a housewife. My father likes gardening, and my mother likes reading religious books like the Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Bhagavad Gita. My uncles are a farmer, a truck driver, and one uncle is physically handicapped.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I believe that if I am awarded the Dakshana Scholarship, I will work hard throughout the year and try to give my best for JEE 2026. I firmly believe that I will secure a seat and rank in IITs or NITs. Dakshana provides the best teaching, the best faculty, and the best environment for preparation, which no other coaching institute gives. If I am not selected, I will purchase low-cost online batches and also do self-study, because my family cannot afford offline coaching. If I am selected, I will work even harder for IIT JEE 2026.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
At this time, my ambition is to secure a good rank and seat in an IIT. After that, I want to do higher studies. I am interested in PhDs and research, but due to lack of knowledge in this field, I can't decide my subject yet. Currently, my favourite subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but later I can't decide which one to choose. In the end, I want to be a scientist.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I want to contribute to my society and my country. As I am a Navodayan, my country has given me a lot of support in my studies, so I want to help those students who want to study but do not have enough money.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was a child, I wanted many things like costly toys. My parents tried to fulfill all my demands, but some things were not affordable. When I asked why we couldn’t buy them, they told me we are poor. Then I understood only studies can fulfill my needs and improve my family's condition. This incident motivated me, and now my priority is to make my parents happy and fulfill their needs.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are watching historical and detective movies or web series, reading novels, and my interest is gaining knowledge and experiences from everything. I also listen to music to relax.
